Standing out from the crowd in this marketplace brimming with creative talent is difficult. When Adam Knibb the founder of Adam Knibb Architects approached the Summit team to build their web presence it was a challenge that the Summit team jumped at.
Images were always going to play a huge part in presenting the innovative and award winning work that the AKA team were designing and delivering. The problem however was then how to show these photos and videos in the best light without slowing down the loading speed and performance of the website.
Animation was an answer which not only enabled images to be loaded at the highest resolution, but also gave the team an opportunity to demonstrate the technical nature of the designs.
The animation would draw (virtually build) the homes whilst the images were being loaded behind the scenes. Once again built on Squarespace, the detailed customisation of the content management system has not only ensured that the website is unique in design, but also that the AKA team is able to manage all the content on the website without any trouble.

Copyright marks on images and credits to the photographers is presented where necessary without any editing of the image. Tables of build details are all built without any HTML or editing ensuring responsive behaviours are all maintained perfectly.
The incorporation of the video in the homepage carousel was the icing on the cake showing the level of customer service and detail that this great company provide. It was a pleasure to work alongside this young and brilliant group of creative people.
